DISAPPOINTMENT that the DoE has not accepted a recommendation that lorry route signs should indicate the location of transport cafes has been expressed by the Road Haulage Association's Highways and Traffic Committee. The Committee has said that the success of lorry routes will depend considerably on the extent Ito which the driver is informed of the provision of telephones, lavatories, catering and accommodation.
