ANEW spring-loaded hose reel has been developed by Tecalemit Ltd., known as the Tecreel and which can accommodate two 20 ft. high-pressure hoses of 0.3125 in. dia. on a 12.5 in.-dia. reel. It is designed to provide greater latitude without risk of hose damage when an hydraulic control is mounted on an extensible member.

Developed for application to the new Coventry Climax Universal fork-lift truck, the company's Tecreel swivel joint is mounted on the frame of the fork carrier and obviates strain on the couplings by virtue , of free movement through an angle of 180°.
