A POWERFUL permanent-magnet base is a feature of a new

portable welding shield known as the Arcmaster. The magnet has a pull of 160 lb. and may be mounted on any flat, ferrous surface. The shield is of the omni-directional type and is coupled to a universal head which is carried by a flexible arm sheathed in oil-resistant p.v.c.
