its interests in the Netherlands by the merger of its subsidiaries Leyland Triumph (Holland) NV and NV Auto-Industrie Verheul. This has resulted in a new company operating under the name of Leyland Motor Corporation (Nederland) NV.
More York Axles for Thailand: The York Trailer Co. Ltd. has gained a follow-up order worth more than 130,000 to supply trailing axles to Thailand. These York built components convert four-wheeled trucks into six-wheelers.
New Palmer Depot: The Palmer Group has opened a new commercial tyre depot at Benson Street, Sheepscar, Leeds, adjoining the present Leeds headquarters. The depot will provide tyre servicing arrangements for commercials, including a 24-hour vehicle-mounted mobile workshop to deal with breakdowns anywhere in the area.
New Skefko Depot: The Skefko Ball Bearing Co. Ltd. has opened a sales depot in Swansea situated at Kingsway, on the Swansea Industrial Estate, Fforestfach (tel: Swansea 33214/5).
