Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Good practice normally dictates a new release bearing with a new clutch, as the bearing is normally much the cheapest component in the bell housing and is a false economy not to change it. On the Atego, however, the release bearing is integral with the slave cylinder. As a result it is not included in a standard clutch kit. None of the factors quoted a price, although the dealers both wanted around £265. For comparison, therefore, we only obtained prices for a pressure plate and centre plate. Euro Commercials was the only supplier to give us individual prices for the two components.

If the pricing battle so far has gone the way of the factors, this time the official outlet of Rygor proved the most competitive at just 2269, At £310 Picksons beat Euro Commercials by a fiver, but at £444 Commercial Spares was well out of it on the only part they could provide, Exchange surcharges ranged from 250 to £96 per set —L&F said theirs was exchange but they weren't bothered about having the old one back.
