Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A T RL C'K driver who killed a motorcyclist when he did a LTturn on a foggy road has been jailed for 21 months after being found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving.

David llughes of Southampton was also banned from driving for three years.

Last month Lincoln Crown Court heard how Hughes carried out the manoeuvre at around 6,30am on 5 September 2003. He collided with a motorcycle, killing its rider, Roy Bond from Gedney.

The prosecution suggested that Hughes could have driven eight miles south to a roundabout but he was near his hours limit and was late.

The U-turn meant he turned right across the road and it was inevitable that he would be blocking both carriageways, the court heard. Hughes had claimed that he could see for at least 100m.
