A DISTINCTIVE forward-control cab has been produced by Messrs. G. C. Smith (Coachworks), Long Whatton, Loughborough, for Austin 2-ton and 5top long-wheelbase chassis. It is of allmetal construction and flexibly mounted. In works primer it costs £162 10s. The divided winIscreen of Triplex

Two bucket seats are mounted on boxes, the drivers' seat having slide rails. Other details include a roof ventilator and two rear windows that greatly facilitate reversing. A step is provided on both sides.

The engine controls are modified. A removable bonnet is provided and steel cowling is fitted to the radiator. The cowling incorporates the control panel.
