vp-IEN the inquiry into Nottingham rY Corporation's development plan as resumed last week, Mr. L. W. A. ,:hite, on behalf of Barton Transport, Id., denied a statement made the revious week by Mr. R. M. Finch, city lgineer. Earlier proceedings were :ported in last week's issue.

Mr. White reported Mr. Finch as tying that the council had not yet ecided whether all out-of-town buses iould be concentrated at Broad Marsh. ft. Finch had added that he would commend this course to the council, ; it was desirable to discontinue the ie of Mount Street and Huntingdon .reet by the out-of-town services, and ;e them solely for corporation buses.

e believed that the concentration of it-of-town services at Broad Marsh ould be welcomed by the operators. " That statement has been brought the attention of Barton Transport, 4., the Trent Motor Traction Co., d., the South Notts Bus Co., Ltd., and

e Midland General Omnibus Co., d., who between them operate the ,erwheilming majority of out-of-town rvice-s," Mr. White went on. "They )uld not welcome the use of one ntral bus station for all out-of-town terators, and would contemplate such prospect with a great deal of alarm."
