Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOLLOWING an accident involving an artic unit in which a mother and child died, Ken Weetch, MP for Ipswich, has called for a handbook of international trailer coupling methods to be published for drivers.

The papers on the accident have now gone to the Director of Public Prosecutions following an inquest on the accident victims.

Mr Weetch said that he would like to see the publication of a multi-lingual handbook giving details of the four methods of coupling trailers to tractive units.

But he is still waiting for advice from the Department of Transport before calling for any further action to follow the accident.

spokesman told CM that he thought the handbook idea was good, "but we have no plans in the pipeline at the moment. I think it is probably up to the trailer manufacturers," he said.
