South Eastern Licensing Authority Michael Turner has revoked the vocational licence held by the LGV driver at the centre of last March's road crash in St Austell in which a woman died.
The driver, Brian Daniels (right) of Essex, failed to attend last week's hearing and his licence was revoked on the grounds of non-attendance. Last January Daniels was convicted at Bodmin Magistrates Court of driving with defective brakes, without a full goods vehicle Operator's Licence, without a current tax disc and with incomplete tachograph records.
