Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Tyre service providers are generally cagey about response times. They all monitor performance regularly; two hours from receipt of call to arrival seems to be the maximum time you should have to wait for help to arrive. ATS Eurornaster says its average callout time for a tyre-related breakdown in the UK is 90 minutes. with another 45 minutes to change the tyre, giving a 'call-to-roll' time of two hours and 15 minutes.

TruckPoint's target response times are 60 minutes during the day and 90 minutes out of hours, although it doesn't guarantee those figures. The time quoted should be from when the call is received to when the fitter arrives at the breakdownbut some companies quote a call-to-roll time, which includes the repair time.

Continental's Rebecca Sheddon says for small fleets operating locally, sometimes the quickest way to get moving is to go straight to the nearest tyre dealer: "There's a certain amount of red tape when you go via a call centre, and you might not be first in the queue."
