Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SCOTTISH WAREHOUSING and transport firm Ramage Distribution has invested more than E7m in two new depots for its network.

The first, a E5m site at Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Wigan, Lanes has 3,700m? of warehousing space and more than five acres of parking, including 2.5 acres of secure overnight parking.

The secure area will be made available to third-party hauliers with high-value loads; the site replaces Ramage's existing Haydock depot.

Further south, the firm is leaving its site at Hatfield, Hens for renovated premises at Biggleswade, Beds.

Ramage boss Neil Cunningham reports: "We have thought very carefully about the changing nature of the transport business in the UK and have designed our new centres as modern, fit-for-purpose facilities which will serve us and the wider transport sector for many years to come."

• An in-depth interview with Neil Cunningham appears on page 26 of this issue.
