af's Trucks In Action event was a showcase for the company's latest products, so why was this Leyland Daf 400 (nee Sherpa) van tucked away in a corner of the Eindhoven plant? And why the paint job? No one would deny that the load space is of worldgirdling proportions, but who is this naked dangler? Questions, questions. But even the Hawk would not be so impertinent as to ask why anybody would want to make an old Sherpa look like it has rusty, damaged bodywork.
