An innovative solution for coupling rigids with trailers was displayed by Swedish supplier VBG. It showed a second-generation system, which includes a hydraulic coupling. The patented MFC system is based on a completely new type of mechanical coupling in which connection devices for electricity, pneumatics, and now also hydraulics, are integrated, The coupling is aligned using ultrasound sensors that send signals to an easily-read display on the dashboard. All the connections are then mane automatically without the driver needing to leave the cab.
