piTHE ROYAL MAIL Group has applied for authorisation for 20 vehicles and the same number of trailers at a new facility on the Royal Oak Industrial Estate in Daventry. Northants.The group wants to increase authorisation at its site on the Haddonbrook Business Centre in Peterborough to four vehicles. In May, the organisation posted a 26% rise in operating profit to £404m. Royal Mail says 75% of its £2bn investment programme to improve its operations has been spent.
