ONE REGULAR exhibitor returning to the Commercial Vehicle Show 2011 will be bodybuilder Aire Truck Bodies.
Established 29 years ago. Aire has been a loyal supporter of the show, and its head of business development. Peter Rotherham, says one reason for this is that the firm can "meet more customers in three days" than it can in six months.
The show, which runs next year at Birmingham NEC from 12-14 April, has provided "plenty of business" for Aire in the past. adds Rotherham.
Aire. which has three bases — Leeds, Bradford and Birmingham — makes bodies for all sorts of CVs and also provides aftersales work. such as repairs to tail-lifts.
Rotherham is cautious] \ optimistic about prospects for thk. next couple of years. saying thal business has picked up in the firsi quarter of 2010, "although this still needs to be sustained" through this year and the next.
