• Solihull-based Whale Tankers has developed a low height Jetvac tanker for working in areas such as underground car parks and depots.
The first one, for French contractor Estivallet of Dijon, is based on a 3.7m wheelbase left hand drive Mercedes 410DA chassis with a low-profile cab.
It stands just 1.8m (5.75ft) high and has a 2,000-litre (440gal) two-compartment tank plus an array of jetting/ vacuuming equipment fitted with radio remote controls.
