A DECISION to suspend, immediately, the 28-vehicle fleet of A. Smith Garage Transport Ltd, of West Bromwich, made in the company's absence, was rescinded by the West Midland Licensing Authority, A. A. Crabtree, when managing director A. Smith appeared before him later in the day. And there had lx complaints from members the public about parki overnight and at weekends. Mr Dodwell said that, wt he approached Mr Smith July about the matter, became abusive.

Irresponsible

Suspending the licence ut the company appeared befi him, Mr Crabtree said appeared to have act irresponsibly and he was prepared to tolerate apparent flagrant disregard the parking condition.

Mr Smith appeared bel the LA after lunch a apologised for not bei present earlier.

New premises
