ARECENT addition to the AmericanLincoln range of floor-maintenance machines marketed by Fred Myers Ltd., the Model 130 pedestrian-controlled scarifier can be used for eliminating material build-up on factory floors, chipping ice from the floors of walk-in freezers and for removing all types of composition flooring.

The scarifier is available with a mainsoperated electric motor or petrol engine with outputs of 0.5 h.p. at 1,725 r.p.m. and 3 h.p. at 3,600 r.p.m. respectively. The four 3.5-in, wide oil-hardened steel blades are automatically adjusted to cater for minor floor irregularities, and their working angle can be easily varied to suit different types of work.
