ON October 25., No, 6 (East) Regional Sub-committee on Fares Will meet at Caxton Hall, London, S.W.1, to discuss the question of the minimum-tare, zone for express services within the, Metropolitan Area. Invitations have been sent to all known operators of express services in this area, and it is hoped that. as many as possible will he present, because the matter is one of great importance.
The committee has also addressed to all Members of Parliament in the Eastern Area a letter pointing to the . serious effect on the industry of the increase in the price of petrol.
