Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

May I ask Commercial Motor to approach the various vehicle manufacturers to ask if they are prepared to justify the outrageous bills that we are saddled with when one of their marque breaks down.

It matters not which vehicle, be it Daf, Iveco or MAN: the charges that we have been forced to pay for attention from their authorised agents are scandalous, and we are sure that the same applies to other makes.

They brag about response times etc, but it would be interesting to read one of your articles making comparisons on a shopping basket of replacements and repairs in various countries, and between the makes.

The situation is so bad. that I have found it cheaper to recover the vehicle and repair it locally. At least we know then that we are not being ripped off.
