Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• MAN's long-awaited new F2000 eight-wheeler will make its first 1.5K appearance at TipCon in May, Two versions of the F2000 84 will be available: • a light on-highway chassis with drop-beam front axle and air-suspended single reduction rear bogie;

• an on/off road chassis with straight-beam front axles providing greater ground clearance and a heavier duty steel-sprung hub reduction back bogie.

According to MAN this offers a saving of around 500kg on the kerbweight.

All engine variants will be to Euro-2 and operators will be able to choose between the 340hp 10-litre five-cylinder and 400hp 12-litre straight-six.

On-highway models will be badged 32.343 and 32.403 while the on/off roaders will be sold as 35.343 and 35.403.

MAN showed the prototype 8x4 lightweight at last year's TipCon Show.
