Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

of my business and one of these involves changing the preventive maintenance checks and repair of arty vehicles to a different garage ,from the one quoted in my 0-licence application. Do I have to inform the Licensing Authority of such changes?

A Although you do not give details of the other changes in your business apart from the change of garage, it is possible that there are matters in these which might be notifiable to the Licensing Authority. However, Section 66 of the Transport Act 1968 governs the matters which need to be notified when changes take place, though these will depend on the conditions which might have been attached to the granting of the licence in the first place.

Section 66 states that, in granting an operator's licence, the Licensing Authority may attach such conditions as he thinks fit for requiring the holder to inform him of any change in the organization, management or ownership of the business; any changes in the persons holding shares in the business; and of any other event affecting the holder of the licence which is relevant to the exercise of any of the LA's powers.

Thus, it depends on what conditions have been attached to the grant of your 0 licence as to what changes are notifiable.
