Spitzer builds around 900 tankers a year — 70% go to Gallic clients who will be delighted that the 800kg lighter composite tank now has French type approval.
Standard tanks range from 23m' non-tips to quite specialized 80m3 tippers and with an order book stretching to Feb 08.
Around 40 non-tips a year go to UK and Irish customers such as Lomas Distribution, Noel O'Brian Cement who wants five more 37m3 tankers and Muldoon Transport Systems which had 12 recently.
