Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AITHOUGHTHL trialoflonger, heavier vehicles (LHVs) in the Netherlands has so far gone well. word has it that the maximum weight of LHVs will be limited to 50tonnes:Ibis is the weight limit in the Netherlands for regular heavy trucks, while LHVs are allowed to weigh 60 tonnes.

Recently, a bridge between Amsterdam and Almere was damaged. although it is not yet known whether LGVs were the cause. Investigation results are not expected before next year.

Sources around the Dutch government inThe Hague indicate that a weight limit for LHVs is being considered and it is possible that this damaged bridge will affect the decision made.

The Dutch also intend to shorten their LHVs:the current maximum length is 25.25m. although this looks to be cut to 21.42111. The Dutch road haulage association is pushing for a length of 21.80m to allow a combinal ion of 13.60m trailer and 8.0m loading box.

At present. Dutch LHVs are allowed only on limited routes, although they may soon be allowed on a wider variety of motorways.

The Minister of Traffic and Waterways is expected to make a decision in two weeks.
