• Davies Turner, the intei national freight forwarder at haulier, has appointed John Duke as a vice president, v overall responsibility for its northern division, which co its branches in Birmingham, Stoke, Manchester, Liverpc and Hull.
He is currently manager the company's branch at thc Manchester International Freight Terminal.
Before returning to the L in 1980 to take up this posit Duke spent two years in charge of the company's largest and most important branch in the Middle East where the growth of the bu ness was so great that it co tributed to the company winning the Queen's Award Export Services.
Previously he was manag of Davies Turner's Binning branch.
