The results of the eleventh annual written technical 'examinations of commercial motor drivers held by the Commercial Motor Users, Association have just been announced.

The examiner in his report to the Association states :—" This year I set the men more difficult tasks, and have made greater call upon their time. The men who sat for Class I examination cheerfully sat through 2-& hours written examination on Sunday morning, and put in 4 hours during the afternoon's practical examination at the bench, and finding faults on vehicles under working conditions. The following are the chief prize winners:— Class I Petrol Examinations.

Champion petrol driver, 1st prize of 210, certificate and medal—James Grove (employer, E. Nelson and Co., .Ltd.).
