undisclosed sum.This marks the company's fourth purchase over the past 16 months.
The acquisition of Post Haste Group expands operations for CitySprint in several locations, including: Tolworth, Surrey; Watford, Herts; Basingstoke, Hants; and Edinburgh. The courier estimates that the 2 newly-acquired business will add 6% to its turnover.
L; It also maintains that Post Haste's 6 customers will benefit from improved collection and delivery times.
Approximately 100 drivers have transferred over from Post Haste.
A CitySprint spokeswoman says: "The acquisition is a continued commitment to a bold growth strategy"
In November 2009, CitySprint bought Warwickshire firm On The Dot Courier; in August it acquired Telford, Shrops business Jaguar Couriers; and in October 2008, Birmingham-based PBS Deliveries came on-board (CM 26 November 2009.)
