Cargo package • Parcel delivery operator Home Express has bought 117 Iveco Ford New Cargo 75E14 models, worth over £3.5m at showroom prices. The box-bodied 7.5-tonners will form part of the company's fleet of 1,500 vehicles based at 30 depots.
Tayside buses • Dundee's Tayside Public Transport Company has ordered four Scania NC113CRB bus chassis and one NC113CRL beam-axle low floor chassis, all with single-deck bodies by East Lancashire Coach Builders. This follows London Buses's order for 30 of the low-floor variants,which command a 15-20% price premium(CM 10-16 Dec 1992).
Transit victorious • Ford has once again topped the UK sales league for light CVs. Transit sales rose from 38,562 to 39,408 last year, but Escort van sales fell, to 20,468.
