Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Goon-box recently introduced by Electronica C. G. provides an audible warning note when a vehicle's direction winkers are flashing (indicating a turning manoeuvre), and by the actuation of a switch on the box all four winkers can be made to flash simultaneously. A red flashing light on the box indicates that these hazard warning lights have been energized.

The box can be fitted to a car-based van or to an articulated vehicle and installation is via three leads and an earth connection.
