• The Freight Transport Association has published a guide to the new GV9 goods vehicle prohibition notices system. It costs 10p including postage to PTA members and 15p to non-members (with reductions for bulk orders). The leaflet explains how the system will be applied and how it differs from the previous scheme and includes examples of the various GV9 forms, the new defect notice and the new GV3 direction notice.
Copies are obtainable from the headquarters of the FTA at Sunley House, Bedford Park, Croydon, CR9 1XU.
