Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AT the recent meeting of the car transportei group of the RHA, consideration was giver to the problem of the use of trade plates by motes dealers and to alleged irregularities regarding the carriage of goods for hire or reward uncle' trade plates. It was agreed to make a detailec investigation of the whole problem with a vies to making suitable representations to the Ministry and seeking legal advice where necessary.

Further progress has been made towards the possible establishment of uniformity in wages and conditions of employment. This particular item has, however, been influenced to a considerable extent by the recent Scamp inquiry, and it was thought advisable to defer further action—

including a meeting with the unions until the issue of the final report of the inquiry.

It is likely that this report will include recommendations relating to labour relations and negotiations between employers and workers in the car transporter sphere.
