MANCHESTER-based haulier faced a icking threat at Liverpool docks this 3ek, following its decision to axe a total nine jobs in the two cities.

Austin Wilkinson shop steward Frank Columbine claimed that a TGWU representative in Liverpool said that if the two drivers there were not reinstated the company would be blacked. But Mr Wainwright told CM that he is not specifically aware of that threat and insisted that the Company Is not blacked. But he added: "The only way the company can find out if it's blacked is to go up there".

The company, which now employs seven drivers, is convinced that it is being blacked and Mr Columbine said: "If it is, we're finished".
