REPRESENTATIVES of the Association of Metropolitan Authorities met Transport Secretary Norman Fowler last month to discuss the relationship between the Metropolitan Counties and PTEs.
The AMA would like more say in the running of the PTEs and a joint AMA/DTp working party has been set up to consider the future relationship between bus operators and councils.
