ASTRAN Freight Terminal L has been bought by a major I. banese trading and transport ( ganisation, T. Gargour and Fi but the Astran name will I main. It is hoped that the de will give the company a sol base for future expansion.
T. Gargour is a family-owni business founded in 1928, wi many interests, including shipping line. It has taken a ! per cent shareholding in Astri with the balance of the equi held by a Dubai merchant bar Wardley Middle East.
The new company has alreac taken delivery of three ne vehicles and it expects to make capital investment of aboi £300,000 during 1981.
