Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

So much interest has been aroused in the lectures to trade classes and so many inquiries received for reports of them that the publicity committee of the Furniture Warehousemen and Removers Association has arranged to publish them in booklet form. The complete series will cover practically the whole work of the trade and will constitute an invaluable source of information for all removers.

Ministry Officials at London Dinner.

Several transport notabilities have accepted invitations to attend the annual dinner and dance of the Metropolitan Area of A.R.O., which takes plate at Grosvenor House, London, on March 20, when Mr. J. F. E. Pye will be in the chair. The guests will include Sir Charles Bressey, C.B., of the Ministry of Transport ; Mr. Gleeson Robinson, Metropolitan Licensing Authority; Vice-Admiral E. A. Taylor, C.V.O., C.M.G., M.P.; Mr. Herbert G. Williams, M.P.; Mr. S. A. Wilkinson, A.M.I.Mech.E., A.M.I.A.E., of the Ministry of Transport; Major Eric Long. T.D., J.P.; and Mr. R. W. Sewill, M.A., M.Inst.T.

"Closed Shop " Encouraged.

At the 27th annual general meeting of the Liverpool and District Short Cart and Motor Owners Association, it was stated that, whilst the Association was pleased to enrol unattached, established hauliers, it was not keen to encourage beginners.

Mr. C. W. Harvey was again elected chairman; Mr. Harry Carruthers, vicechairman ; Mr. F. S. Jones, treasurer; and Mr. W. F. Ewbank, secretary.
