CORBY-BASED LOGISTICS specialist DDS has been acquired by Keswick Enterprises and renamed Enterprise Logistics.

The DDS workforceis unaffected by the change the renamed firm will continue to operate from its 20.000m2 refurbished warehouse and offices.

Enterprise Logistics chairman Steve Brimfield says: "This is a positive move for us. We can access support from Keswick and will benefit from its joint ventures and strategic involvements in numerous businesses operating in 10 European countries."

Keswick Enterprises was created in 2004 to invest in privately owned logistics and supply-chain businesses where there was potential to exploit synergies between operations.

Enterprise Logistics offers storage, warehousing, cross-docking and dispatch services as well as pack-and-pick operations for import and domestic customers.
