Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

in Ireland last week took a bizarre twist when armed men surrounded police and made off with a ''rescued" van full of counterfeit goods for the Christmas market.

Officers from the Revenue Mobile Service had seized two diesel laundering operations near Dundalk in County Louth, on the southern side of the border.

The biggest was at Jenkinstown, where 300,000 litres of washed diesel wore seized at a plant capable of processing 400,000 litres a week. The second seizure was at Feede. Co Louth, where the diesel laundry had a capacity of 200,000 litres a week.

The Customs officers also found a mobile shop packed with counterfeit goods—the 111£1110,000 haul included CDs, videos, DVDs and PlayStation games. They notified police, who have the power to seize counterfeit goods.

But a gang of up to seven armed men dressed in camouflage clothing and balaclavas blocked the road and demanded the return of the van and its contents; their threats were allegedly reinforced by rockets fired into the air from a nearby location. The men escaped with the van across the border into South Armagh in Northern Ireland.
