AFTER READING BRIAN Alcock's letter of the week regarding health and safety guidelines and all the associated paperwork (CM 7 April:" Blame claim culture for safety hoops") I turned to the article on engine oils to find a photograph of a fitter teetering on the edge of an inspection pit while topping up an engine with oil.
Now that's a claim waiting to happen and a service centre that will probably moan about all the paperwork that goes with it!
