THE MINISTER of Transport has upheld an appeal by Hutchison's Coaches Ltd., of Overtown, Lanarkshire, against a decision of the Traffic Commissioners to withdraw the licensee for one of its Motherwell and Wishaw services, the No. 4 route between Coltness and Forgewood.
The Minister's ruling was sent last week— more than a year after the appeal was made—to Mr. Sam Anderson, owner of the bus company. He was advised to collaborate with the Central SMT, his main rival, to work out a cv-ordinated service to the benefit of both themselves and the public.
