BRMSI-I MOTOR HOLDINGS last week announced a half year loss of £7,520,000 before tax, incurred entirely in the BMC side of the business where production was disrupted by strikes inside and outside the plant. But the directors feel that there will be a marked improvement in the second half of the year. A revival is expected in the commercial vehicle market where BMHs vans and light trucks have suffered heavily.
