CM IS STARTING a new series called ‘Used Truck of the Week’, where we pick a irst-class deal from a used truck dealer’s forecourt.
The irst in our series is a 2009-registered Euro-4 FH with a Globetrotter XL cab with Prestige trim from Middlewich, Cheshire-based Volvo Trucks dealer Thomas Hardie Commercials. It has a 13-litre 440hp engine, I-Shift gearbox, and uses EGR to meet Euro-4 emissions. Registered in May 2009, it has 410,000km on the clock and comes with full Volvo service history.
Used truck sales executive Jonathan Bownes said: “Extras include movingloor equipment, Kelsa bar, spot lights, air horns and under bunk fridge. It will be sold with three months’ Thomas Hardie Driveline protection and inance through Volvo [subject to acceptance].” The asking price is £39,950 (plus VAT) and with a £10,000 (plus VAT) minimum part exchange to the end of October.
