IT has been revealed that on the openI day of the Frankfurt Motor Show last week, Henschel-Werke AG, Kassel, placed an order for 200 Commer vehicles, this following the announcement made during the previous week that the Rootes Group and Henschel had agreed to establish a joint sales programme of goods vehicles in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Austria. This initial order is for WalkThru 2-tonners and forward-control 4-, 5-, 6and 7-4on chassis, all of which will have Perkins diesel engines.
