At the operator’s premises, but it can be offered at the dealership.

Do you offer specific driver handover/familiarisa tion courses certified as a JAUPT-recognised/ accredited course for Driver CPC training?

Yes. The recommended price is £400, but most dealers include it in the package.

How long does the CPC course take and how does it differ from a ‘standard’ handover?

It lasts seven hours, based on the first three-hour static vehicle, full-profes sional handover and the remaining four hours classified as ‘on-the road, on-the-job’ training where the vehicle can be used for a local delivery.

Can operators buy a CPC-registered familiarisation package on existing (i.e. not brand new) trucks?
