Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Fuel consumption down 4%, RO,tv'‘

cost., 10%, and service intervals extended to 150,000km — impressive claims, but that's what Daf says operators can expect from its new XF105.

The launch of the XF105 tractor range was the highlight of the European Road Transport Show in Amsterdam last week. The XF features a restyled exterior, including a more streamlined roof for the Spacecab and Super Spacecab; the interior has also received a significant makeover, including lowering the engine tunnel by 150mm to improve driver living space, a new steering wheel and a revised dash display.

Under the cab sits Oaf's latest MX 12.9-litre engine. Launched at the Hanover Show last year, this is the first time it's been seen in a truck. Power options are 410, 460 and 510hp.

EU legislation dictates trucks launched since 1 October must comply with the Euro-4 exhaust emission limits, so the XF105 is only available in Euro-4 form. For the UK market Daf will continue to offer the Euro-3 XF95 until Euro-4 compliance becomes mandatory for all new truck sales next October.

Daf has also revised the chassis layout. The air tanks are now mounted inside the chassis rails, making space for the SCR system and its AdBlue tanks.

• Dar also launched a 9.2-litre six cylinder engine for the CF75. The Paccar PR engine will be produced next year, with power outputs from 250-360hp.
