Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A driver who was working for Croydon-based European Express Services has been jailed f or 12 years for trying to smuggle more than 21.5m of drugs into the country. Croydon Crown Court heard that Michaei Eardley of Pathfield Road, Streatham had tried to smuggle 344kg of cannabis and nearly 40,000 ecstasy tablets. The drugs were found in his truck at Dover by a sniffer dog. Eardley claimed he didn't know the drugs there—he said they were put there during an overnight stop in Belgium. But the judge said it was clear that Eardley took the risks.
