• Fudickar-Metall of Haan, Germany has developed a neat design of winged truck body, initially for rigids. The first example, based on a Scania P94 4x2 chassis, has aluminium planked two-piece sides that fold outwards, controlled by buttons in the cab. Hydraulically operated linkages in the roof section open the sides fully within 10 seconds. Fudickar Metall, which is part of the Krupp group, can supply the body in kit form in GRP or alu
minium to suit all makes of chassis.
