The teak flooring has an underside lining of steel, the interior being covered with linoleum. Fittings include a counter, cupboards, cabinets, desk,. fire-proof safe, and swivelling chairs and stools. There is also a sleeping hunk with a rubber mattress. A cc-nmunication door is fitted in the cab bulkhead.

All doors are fitted with slam locks and have handles both inside and outside. The near-side door in the driver's cab and the single door at the rear are additionally fitted with mortice locks, whilst the off-side cab door has an inside bolt. The cab can accommodate two persons.

Two ventilators are incorporated in the dash and there is one in the roof. Ventilation is by an 'intake and exhaust fan,the intake being connected with trunking to give even distribution. Electric lighting is provided.

A public-address system comprises a loudspeaker mounted on the roof, and a gramophone, pick-up and desk microphone.

The Outfit was designed for use in the country and hill districts of the bank's area, where the inhabitants are reluctant to entrust their savings to an institution which is not situated physically in their Midst. The mobile bank should provide a practical answer to the problem.
