INTERAVAILABLE bus and Ira I tickets are to be introduced on ti Newcastle upon Tyne—South Shieli route on December 1 by the Northei General Transport Co., Ltd., and tl Railway Executive. The tickets w also be available at intermediate poin along the 10-mile route.
If the scheme is successful, it w probably be extended from Newcast to points north of the Tyne. A simil scheme introduced between Newcast and Carlisle in August is reported have stimulated rail traffic.
