Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

JOHN REID TRUCKING says it has seen pallet volumes double since joining Palletways and picking up customers from collapsed haulier EH Lee, also a Palletways member. The Brigg, North Lincolnshire-based haulier joined Palletways on 1 March, leaving United Pallet Network (UPN) after a five-year stint. The company is covering areas in Lincolnshire including Ashby. Gainsborough and Bradley.

"Inbound and outbound freight has doubled since we switched networks. We are handling about 200 pallets each day, compared to 100 with UPN," reveals John Reid, MD at the business.

He tells CM the firm has also picked up cus tomers -extremely loyal to Palletways" from EH Lee, which entered administration on 29 January and looked after the Lincoln area for the network. The decision to switch networks was partly fuelled by a desire for higher volumes.

Reid adds: "I anticipate joining Palletways will have a great impact on our turnover for this financial year." Since joining the firm, he has purchased two HGVs and expects to take on new staff to cope with growth.
